Queensland Government's Medical and Heating Electricity Concession Scheme

This concession of $216.21 per year is available to low income concession card holders who have a qualifying chronic medical condition significantly aggravated by changes in temperature.  This energy concession will not affect other energy concession entitlements already in place.  The schemes's information and application brochure outlines eligibility criteria and qualifying medical conditions.
